Help your customers transform data into intelligent action. The Cortana Intelligence Suite of data analysis tools goes beyond traditional business intelligence and data mining allowing you to create prescriptive analytic solutions that bring action to intelligence. During this course, you will have an opportunity to learn about analytics workload, the Cortana Analytics process, the foundations of data transfer and storage, data source documentation, storage and processing using Machine Learning, and other techniques. You will also learn how to work through a real-world scenario using the Cortana Intelligence Suite tools, including the Microsoft Azure Portal, PowerShell, and Visual Studio.
Engagement
Delivered over a four-week timeframe, this course engages the participant in an orchestrated set of interactive learning that includes video, expert instruction, a customer case study, discussion forums, applied assignments, feedback opportunities, and more. Registration is free, and because the process is asynchronous, participants complete assignments and activities at their own pace and convenience during the timeframe for minimal interruption to daily work.
Cloud Platform University Online courses typically require an estimated commitment of 1-2 hours per week. Participants earn points each week by completing an assignment and consuming that week’s content, with the opportunity for peer feedback and expert questions and answers.
Completion
At the end of the course, participants complete a final assignment that accounts for a large percentage of the total points available for the course. This assignment is peer-reviewed for a final score. If enough points have been earned, the participant has completed the course and a digital badge is sent for he or she to use on LinkedIn and social media to proclaim their learning experience to the world.
